Dear fellow Republicans,

The fall season is upon us. It brings with it the excitement of a new season and changes in the natural landscape — it is up to us to bring new changes in the political landscape which abounds us. This November and next November we have within our reach the ability to promote Republican Philosophy and dedicate the time and energy needed to get our chosen candidates elected.

I am a life long Republican! I believe in government that is effective, efficient, friendly, accessible and accountable. I believe in the Republican/ Conservative concept that the government that governs least governs best.

I believe in a strong military.

I believe in a government that can reduce the tax burden and practices fiscal responsibility so that people may become self-supporting productive citizens.

I believe in a government that acknowledges that all are entitled to equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity.

These are the Republican principlesI believe in. With your support the Republican Party can make a difference in Sullivan County. It is a necessity for all committee members and fellow republicans to contribute their thoughts in order for multidimensional thinking to blossom.I maintain an inclusive, accessible open door policy. With your assistance we can and we will make a difference.

When you elected me Chairman of the Sullivan County Republican Party I promised to handle the responsibilities and to lead the party in an open environment. I felt this was important so that everyone could participate and assist in helping the Party assume a leadership role in the county.

Since taking over as Chairman, most of these objectives are well on their way of being realized. Our fundraising events have been successful and our annual Gala is shaping up to be a huge success. We have made our mark on the state level and we are well on the way to finalizing slates to run in town, village and county elections. I look at these efforts as successes that will strengthen our party for years to come.

In closing I would like to thank my executive board, committee persons and all the volunteers who helped promote the above mentioned goals.

LiGreci Chairman
